Iron-Manganese Filter Systems

Dissolved iron and manganese in water typically cause a yellowish-brown turbidity. This is particularly undesirable in the textile, leather, food, paper, and plastics industries. Iron-manganese filters, using special minerals, can reduce the levels of iron and manganese in water to the desired values. Water is purified from iron and manganese through oxidation/filtration methods with the help of a mineral specifically activated for these elements. This prevents discoloration and turbidity caused by iron and manganese, which can stain fabrics, porcelain, and other items, narrow pipe linings, encourage the growth of iron bacteria in pipes, and damage installation components.
