Turbidex Filter Systems

Turbidex is a mineral that, in addition to its many advantages, is commonly used as a filter medium for the removal of suspended solids. Its angular shape and irregular surface provide a large filtration area, achieving a screening precision of up to 20–40 microns. Due to its low backwash requirement, it enables extended filtration cycles. Its large and irregular surface prevents the formation of a filter cake on the top layer of conventional filter sand, resulting in longer filtration durations and improved performance.
