Automatic backwash, stainless steel cartridge filters feature a particle retention precision of 20-500 microns. With the addition of a timed motor, automatic backwashing can be achieved, and when a differential pressure switch is installed, the backwash operation can be automatically triggered once the filter is full.

Sediment and sand particles from the water supply can cause corrosion and subsequent damage. Therefore, Honeywell filters are used as protective filters in potable and utility water installations.
