Cartridge Filter Systems

This is a filtration system that cleans water by trapping all rust, sediment, particles, sand, and other impurities within the cartridge filter housing using PP-made cartridges that achieve filtration at the desired micron levels.

The filter housing functions as the holder for the cartridges—the main element responsible for water purification. Filter housings are manufactured from PVC or stainless steel. The cartridges used in cartridge filter systems come in various micron ratings, making it possible to perform precise micron-level filtration by using the appropriate number and type of cartridges for different capacities.

The properties of the raw water entering the filter affect both the service life of the filters and the fouling rate of the cartridges. Fouled cartridges increase the pressure drop and reduce filtration efficiency, so they must be replaced. In processes that require staged filtration, pre-filtration is achieved using cartridge filtration systems, which are favored for their ease of use and cost-effectiveness, ensuring long-term efficiency of the equipment.
